Program
PYSA Basketball
Prosper partners with Plano Sports Authority (PSA) for game facilities and schedule management — while PYSA handles all practice scheduling locally in Prosper.
Season Update
The Winter Season is Upon Us
Winter registration closed 11/5. Reminder: no practices occur when school is closed (e.g. 1/5 and 1/19 — PISD holiday).
Why Play Through Prosper?
You may wonder why the fee to play with Prosper is higher than playing directly through PSA. There are real benefits to playing through Prosper:
- All practices in Prosper — we partner with PISD to use elementary gym facilities, saving you the drive to McKinney or Plano.
- PYSA schedules ALL practices — reducing errors and making the most efficient use of facilities.
- Prosper offers a second practice each week when available — at no additional fee.
- 5th and 6th grade teams practice on full courts when available, with the option to scrimmage same-grade teams for full-court press prep.
Fees
Individual
$225
Per athlete. Uniforms NOT included.
Team
$2,250
Regardless of player count (up to 10). 7-10 players recommended.
Teams paying the Team Fee in total will be considered "closed". Coaches are responsible for splitting the fee evenly between up to 10 players. Teams requesting more than 10 players need PSA Director / PYSA Commissioner approval at an additional $225 per added player.
