The home base for PYSA Basketball coaches — practice schedule, meeting notes and the practice request form.
Welcome, coaches. PYSA partners with PSA for game facilities and schedule management, but PYSA handles all practice scheduling in Prosper. That means we need timely, accurate practice requests from every coach.

The practice schedule is posted. Please check the schedule before reaching out about your team's slot.
PSA is not scheduling practices this year, so it is mandatory to submit the practice request form if you wish to hold weekly practices.

The information on this site summarizes what was covered — primarily practice and game expectations.
5th / 6th Grade Court Options
5th and 6th grade coaches may request their preferred court option (all subject to availability):
- Full Court — team only: ideal but limited availability.
- Full Court — split with same grade/gender: half courts assigned, with collaboration for full-court press scrimmages.
- Half Court Practice: scheduled based on request and availability; not guaranteed.
Why full court matters: 5th grade introduces full-court press for the 2nd half of games. 6th grade may press the entire game. Practicing the concept needs a full court — which isn't available at PSA or Fieldhouse.
Schedule Changes
There is a lot of coordination with Prosper ISD to schedule and staff schools for practices. Changes cannot be accommodated at the last minute. Please submit accurate practice requests on time.
